Automated outreach lets you send multi-step email campaigns to your leads without manual follow-up. This guide covers creating sequences, writing templates, and configuring automation rules.
Go to Outreach > Email Sequences and click New Sequence. Give it a descriptive name like "Outreach — dentists in Austin."
Click Add Step to create Step 1. Write a compelling subject line and body. Use merge tags to personalize:

Go to Automations to set rules like:
From any search result page, select the leads you want to contact and click Add to Sequence. Choose your sequence and confirm. Emails will send according to your configured delays.
Check sequence performance from the Sequences dashboard. Track open rates, reply rates, and bounce rates. Pause underperforming sequences and A/B test subject lines to improve results.
A well-crafted 3-step sequence typically achieves 40-60% open rates and 5-15% reply rates. Automation ensures no lead falls through the cracks.
