How to Find and Close Your First Lead

This guide walks you through the entire process of finding a prospect, qualifying them, and closing your first deal using LeadAuditPro.

Step 1: Run a targeted search

Go to Dashboard and click New Search. Enter a specific business niche (e.g. "chiropractor") and your target city. More specific queries produce higher-quality leads.

Step 2: Identify high-opportunity leads

Sort results by Lead Score (highest first). Leads scoring 60+ typically have multiple website issues you can help fix. Click on a lead to see their full audit breakdown.

Step 3: Enrich the lead

Click the Enrich button to find the business owner's email address and social profiles. This gives you a direct line of contact rather than a generic info@ address.

Step 4: Review their audit report

Open the full SEO Audit for the lead's website. Take note of 2-3 critical issues you can mention in your outreach — missing SSL, slow load times, and no mobile optimization are common high-impact findings.

Step 5: Send personalized outreach

Go to One-Click Outreach or add the lead to an Email Sequence. Reference specific issues from their audit to show you have done your homework. For example: "I noticed your site takes 6 seconds to load and is missing SSL — this is costing you search rankings."

Step 6: Follow up and close

Move the lead through your Pipeline stages as you progress. Set Reminders for follow-ups. When they respond, share a detailed Client Report showing all their issues and your proposed fixes.

Tip: The best first outreach focuses on one or two specific problems rather than a laundry list. Business owners respond better to "your site has no SSL and here is what that costs you" than "here are 47 things wrong with your website."

Expected outcome

Following this workflow, most users close their first deal within 1-2 weeks. The key is volume — search 5-10 niches per city, enrich the top leads, and send personalized outreach every day.
